Birthname: Chaim Witz, then it was changed when he came to America to Eugene Klein. Lastly he changed it again to Gene Simmons.
Birthdate: 25th of August 1949 in Haifa, Israel.

Random fact:
Gene started playing bass when he was around 16 years old. His main inspiration was The Beatles.


I can add that Gene is my favorite member/character of KISS.

Random fact: Tommy played in the band Black 'n Blue, which Gene signed in the eighties. Black 'n Blue later disbanded, and Tommy became an important piece of the "KISS machinery" as a designer and editor of KISS videos as well as road manager in the ninetees for KISS.
